How do I maintain battery life and avoid wear and tear on my Hypershell product?Updated a month ago
To extend the lifespan of your Hypershell battery and maintain optimal performance, follow these key tips:
Avoid extreme temperatures
Keep the device within a temperature range of 0° to 40° C (32° to 104° F). Exposure to conditions above 40° C or below 0° C can reduce battery efficiency and may cause permanent damage.
Avoid long-term discharge
Do not allow the battery to remain at 0% charge for extended periods. Storing the battery in a fully depleted state can lead to long-term capacity loss.
Avoid overcharging
While the device includes built-in charging protection, avoid leaving it connected to a charger for more than 10 hours after reaching a full charge. Overcharging over time may still affect overall battery health.
How to Maintain the Battery
1. If the battery will not be used for more than 10 days, please charge the battery to over 50% power before storage (that is, when the third indicator light is flashing on the device or the green light is flashing when charging via the Hub).
2. Charge and discharge the battery approximately every 6 months to maintain battery activity, which can extend the battery’s lifetime. If the battery is stored for a long time after being completely drained, it may over-discharge and be damaged.
3. Always store Batteries in a well-ventilated and dry place.
4. The battery will enter deep hibernation mode if severely depleted and stored for an extended period of time. Recharge the battery for more than 2 hours to bring it out of deep hibernation.
5. When your use finishes, charge the battery after it has fully cooled down. Charging it while hot may cause damage to the battery.
By following these care guidelines, you’ll help preserve battery integrity, reduce the risk of premature wear, and ensure your device continues to perform reliably over time.
