How does Overheat Protection Control work in Firmware v1.4.2?Updated 22 days ago

The Overheat Protection Control feature in Firmware v1.4.2 is designed to help your Hypershell device operate safely during extended use by monitoring and managing internal temperature in real time.

How it works:

  • Real-Time Temperature Monitoring

Built-in sensors continuously track the device’s temperature to keep it within a safe operating range.

  • Automatic Power Adjustment

If the temperature approaches the preset limit, the system will automatically reduce power output to help prevent overheating.

How to Turn On Overheat Protection:

  1. Make sure you’ve updated to the latest Hypershell+ App

  2. Update your device firmware to v1.4.2

  3. Reconnect your device to the app

  4. In the app, go to:

Home > MotionEngine > Overheat Protection Control

  5. Set your preferred temperature threshold (the green or orange zone is recommended)

Once enabled, the system will manage power dynamically to keep temperatures within safe limits.

What Happens If Your Device Overheats?

  • Instant Alert

You’ll receive an “Overheat” warning notification in the app.

  • Smart Power Reduction

The device will automatically lower output to cool down and maintain safety.

Keeping your firmware up to date ensures safer, smarter performance—even in demanding environments. If you need help accessing or adjusting this feature, contact Hypershell support for assistance.
